In a time when America’s legal and political system is under siege by radical leftist ideologies, we need a leader who stands unapologetically for the rule of law, the Constitution, and the values that made this country great. Matt Gaetz, a congressman from Florida, has proven time and time again that he is the kind of leader we need in the role of Attorney General (AG). I believe that President Donald Trump’s recent decision to tap Gaetz for this critical position is both strategic and necessary for the preservation of our nation’s founding principles.
Matt Gaetz’s Commitment to the Rule of Law
One of the most important qualifications for the role of AG is a steadfast commitment to the rule of law. Under the leadership of the Biden administration, we have witnessed the justice system being weaponized against political opponents, with the FBI, DOJ, and other federal agencies being used as tools to silence dissenting voices. In contrast, Matt Gaetz has consistently shown that he will not allow political motivations to influence his decisions in the courtroom. As a staunch defender of due process, Gaetz understands that no one is above the law, and this includes those in positions of power.

Matt Gaetz has long been an advocate for the values that resonate with true conservatives—values that reflect my own journey from being a Muslim to becoming a Christian conservative and a proud member of the LDS faith. Gaetz has championed the fight against the radical left’s agenda, including its attempts to undermine the sanctity of life, destroy religious freedoms, and erode American values. As AG, he will be able to defend these values with the full power of the U.S. Department of Justice behind him.
Moreover, Gaetz’s alignment with President Trump is a testament to his commitment to putting America first. The Trump administration made significant strides in restoring the integrity of the justice system, and Gaetz’s selection as AG is a continuation of that vision. Trump knows that Gaetz has the strength and the resolve to fight against the globalist forces that seek to destroy America’s sovereignty and moral compass.

Having served as a leader within CAIR-Columbus and the Muslim Forum of Utah in the past, I’ve seen firsthand how corruption and radical ideologies can infiltrate even the most trusted institutions. Gaetz has been at the forefront of efforts to root out corruption in Washington, D.C., and his track record shows that he is not afraid to go after those who misuse their power for personal gain. Whether it’s the swamp of Washington or the bureaucratic elite entrenched in the DOJ, Gaetz will be a bulldog in rooting out corruption and ensuring that justice is served equally to all Americans, regardless of their political or social standing.

As a Christian conservative Iranian-American who has lived through the turmoil of radical ideologies and witnessed the impact of leftist policies both in the U.S. and abroad, I can say without a doubt that Matt Gaetz’s appointment as Attorney General is a necessary step for the preservation of America’s future. His commitment to the Constitution, the rule of law, and the conservative values that have made this nation great will be crucial in restoring justice and integrity to a legal system that has been compromised.
In an age where the radical left is trying to tear down everything we hold dear, we need leaders like Matt Gaetz—leaders who will not compromise on their principles, who will stand firm against tyranny, and who will fight for the America that our founding fathers envisioned. With Gaetz at the helm of the Department of Justice, we can rest assured that the law will be enforced fairly, justice will be served, and America will continue to be a beacon of freedom and liberty.
