Over the years, I’ve undergone numerous transformations, from a former vegan to an ex-socialist, from an executive director of CAIR-Columbus to the president of the Muslim Forum of Utah. Through these experiences, I’ve come to deeply understand what drives true progress and innovation in society. It is precisely this understanding that has led me to one very simple but profound conclusion: if Elon Musk were to offer me a role, any role, within his organizations, I would gladly accept.

I’ve always admired Musk for his unwavering commitment to progress. As someone who spent many years immersed in the political and ideological battles of Islamism and socialism, I have come to appreciate the difference between ideologies rooted in stagnation and those that push humanity forward. The socialist ideas I once believed in led me to a false sense of security in collectivism, but as I transitioned toward a Christian conservative worldview, I realized the importance of individual freedom and the opportunities that come with innovation.

Elon Musk represents the embodiment of this freedom. His ventures—Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and others—are a testament to what can be achieved when one dares to challenge the status quo. Musk is a man of action, and the kind of bold leadership that he embodies is exactly the kind of leadership our society desperately needs. He does not conform to conventional wisdom; rather, he redefines it. For someone like me, who has worked at the intersection of technology, politics, and faith, Musk’s ability to blend futuristic vision with practical action is inspiring.

One of the most compelling reasons why I would want a job working for Elon Musk is his genuine desire to reshape humanity’s future. I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for leaders to think outside the box, to see beyond the narrow confines of current political and technological paradigms. This is a value I hold dear, especially as someone who has shifted from the confines of Islamic dogma and socialist rhetoric to the expansive worldview offered by conservative values. Furthermore, as an Iranian-American, I understand the significance of breaking through cultural and technological barriers. Coming from a background steeped in ancient history, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the value of scientific progress and innovation. Iran, despite its rich intellectual history, has been hindered by authoritarianism and backward ideologies, including the oppressive and violent policies of the Islamic regime. Musk’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible—whether through colonizing Mars or advancing sustainable energy—resonates with my own desire to create a future free from the constraints of tyranny and dogma.

I also believe that working for Musk would allow me to contribute to a greater cause: the preservation of freedom. Having been a vocal critic of the authoritarian systems I once supported, I now see that true freedom and liberty are only possible when we embrace the free market, technological advancement, and personal responsibility. Elon Musk’s mission to ensure that humanity remains free—whether through the establishment of a self-sustaining colony on Mars or his push for free speech and transparency—aligns with my Christian conservative principles. It is through such endeavors that the values of freedom, faith, and innovation can thrive.

If Elon Musk were to contact me for any role, I would welcome the opportunity with open arms. Whether it’s in technology, leadership, or strategy, I believe my unique background and skills would complement the incredible teams Musk has assembled at Tesla and SpaceX. I would gladly embrace the challenge of contributing to a company that has already revolutionized the way we think about energy, transportation, and even space exploration. There is nothing more exciting, in my view, than the chance to be part of an organization that dares to change the world for the better.

In conclusion, my journey from the world of Islamism, socialism, and bureaucratic stagnation to a place where I can embrace Christian conservative values and champion innovation has led me to a single truth: Elon Musk’s mission aligns with my own. If the opportunity arose for me to work with him, I would not hesitate.
