The Dark Legacy of Jihad: Unveiling 1400 Years of Terror and Tyranny in Iran

The Dark Legacy of Jihad: Unveiling 1400 Years of Terror and Tyranny in Iran

As an Iranian-American, ex-Muslim, and a conservative Christian, I have witnessed and studied the impact of Islam's bloody history in my homeland. The Iranian people, rich in culture and tradition, have been subjected to 1400 years of Islamic jihad—a legacy marred by violence, racism, murder, deception, and persecution. Islam, as it was brought to Iran and imposed upon us, represents a prolonged campaign of terror and coercion against the noble Persian civilization, suppressing our history, identity, and faith.

Throughout history, the jihadist agenda has used tools of terror to subjugate non-Arab cultures, fostering racism and labeling others as "ajam" (foreigners) in an attempt to strip us of our dignity and heritage. Islam was violently imposed on Persians and has enforced an unending loyalty to an ideology that does not represent us. This has led to centuries of fear, manipulation, and lies that have propagated from religious institutions and political figures alike, forcing our people to adopt a faith and way of life at odds with our heritage and true beliefs.

The Quran itself includes violent prescriptions that justify terrorism, looting, and murder in the name of Allah. For instance, Quran 9:29 instructs Muslims to fight non-believers, a command used to justify attacks on Iran, Spain, and countless other civilizations throughout history . Furthermore, the Hadiths, or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, propagate anti-Persian sentiments, showing that Arab Islamic leaders view non-Arabs as inferior. By enslaving Persians, destroying our Zoroastrian temples, and erasing our native faith, Islam spread a reign of terror throughout our ancient lands.

However, the Iranian spirit is resilient, and the Iranian people have begun to awaken to the manipulation and oppression Islam has inflicted upon us. Many young Iranians are reclaiming their Persian roots and rejecting the foreign creed forced upon us centuries ago. Our people are turning to the West—particularly to allies like America and Israel—who stand as symbols of freedom, democracy, and, yes, God’s promise to liberate His people from oppression. The desire to throw off the chains of Islamic theocracy grows stronger by the day, and we will soon free Iran from the dark shadow of Islam, embracing our ancient roots and values once more.

The American and Israeli support for a free Iran is vital. As Iran’s oppressive Islamic regime continues to chant “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” true Iranians stand against this hateful rhetoric. Iran’s current rulers do not represent us, and we, the people, refuse to be bound by their vicious dogma any longer. American and Israeli partnership with the Iranian people will aid us in reclaiming Iran for the noble and just people we truly are.

God bless Israel, God bless America, and may God bless the future free Iran!
