Islam vs. Islam

This is such a great scene from the epic movie called "Jodhaa Akbar" about Akbar Shah (Persianate Mughal Emperor) and Sharifuddin Hussain (Akbar's sister's husband) who had an exclusive ideology vs. Akbar's tolerant & all inclusive ideology...Kinda like the difference between traditional Islam (Sunni, Shia, and Sufi) and it's Wahabi inspired variants such as the Taliban and Al-Qaeda...

Reminds me of the book "Shia Revival" by Vali Nasr regarding how the future of Islam will be filled with conflicts within Islam that will shape the world. It is interesting to note that the "rules of engagement" in Islam in regards to war is that you can not hurt the unarmed, young, poor, sick, old, women, animals, trees, etc.  However, the hypocrites (munafiqs) such as the Taliban and Al-Qaeda do just that...they break even the rules of war within Islam.  As American Muslims, it is our duty to defend "our nation" or "watan".  An example of this was when Iran and Iraq were at war...they were both Muslim countries, but it is your Islamic duty to defend your nation even if your enemy calls himself a Muslim.  Coincidentally you are not supposed to lift a sword against your Muslim brother/sister.  However, once they have...then you can defend yourself.  This is something that the Saudi Wahabi inspired Taliban/Al-Qaeda will not tell the west or other Muslims.  If anything, it would be the right and duty of American Muslims to launch a Holy War against Al-Qaeda/Taliban.

Here is an example of the hypocrisy and wrongly guided Wahabism and it's progeny...

SAUDI PRINCE KILLS HIS AIDE/SERVANT (SEXUALLY RELATED PER LAW ENFORCEMENT): http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/europe/10/19/england.saudi.prince.verdict/index.html?hpt=T2 Astaghfirallah...And his family are the "custodians of the two holy mosques"??? ...It's not bad enough that they destroy Mecca and Medina little by little, produce Wahabi inspired terrorists like Al-Qaeda and the Taliban...but they have to spread out their seeds of fitnah too. This Saudi Prince has probably not had the words of the Quran go "further than his throat" They said it was a "Master and Servant" relationship. As long as I remember in the House of Darvish we never abused our servants and workers. However, when you come straight out of the desert and "compete in building skyscrapers" in 60 years...maybe you didn't have the 7000 years of Persian, Indian, and Greek Civilizations or maybe the 9000 years of the Egyptian and Chinese civilizations. He might as well be wearing his hata, aba and be holding a whip as if in the 7th century in Pre-Islamic Pagan Arabia...

So, why are we making a 60 billion dollar arms deal with this country? The country who had 15 nationals out of the 19 hijackers during 9/11?

Here is another Wahabi inspired person...Major Nidal Hassan:

Here is some more information regarding the types of Wahabis (Takfiris) we are speaking of:

Takfiris and Terrorism

Takfiris have been classified by some commentators as violent offshoots of the Salafi movement, yet while Salafism is seen as a form of 'fundamentalist Islam', it is not an inherently violent movement and does not condone terrorism.[3] Takfiris, on the other hand, condone acts of violence as legitimate methods of achieving religious or political goals.
Takfiris believe in Islam strictly according to their interpretation of Muhammad's and his companions' alleged actions and statements, and do not accept any deviation from their path; they reject any form of reform or change from the religion as it was revealed in the time of the prophet. Those who change their religion from Islam to any other way of life, or deny any of the fundamental foundations of Islam, or who worship, follow or obey anything other than Islam, become those upon whom the takfiris declare the "takfir", calling them apostates from Islam and so no longer Muslim.
Takfiris practice a number of beliefs that separate them from the Salafist movement. The most obvious example is the aforementioned labelling of fellow Muslims as kafir and the practice of declaring takfir/damnation upon them—a legacy from the notorious medieval Islamic writer, Ibn Taymiyyah the Takfirist. This belief allows Takfiris to justify the use of violence against fellow Muslims; a contemporary example being the sectarian violence perpetrated in the Iraqi Insurgency.
Takfiris also reject the traditional Muslim duty to obey one's legitimate rulers in all manners that do not contradict Sharia, as sedition is viewed as a great danger to a nation. However Takfiris consider all political authority that does not abide by their interpretation of Islam as illegitimate and apostate; a view which closely mirrors Qutb's views on jahiliyyah.[4] As such, violence against such regimes is considered legitimate.
Takfiri views on suicide also differ significantly from that of orthodox Islam. Takfiris believe that one who deliberately kills themselves whilst attempting to kill enemies is a martyr (Shahid) and therefore goes straight to heaven. As such all sin is absolved when a person is martyred, allowing carte blanche for the indiscriminate killing of non-combatants, for example.[5]
Opponents of the takfiris, especially anti-takfiri Islamic hardliners often view them as modern-day analogues of the Khawarij, a seventh-century off-shoot Islamic sect which waged war against theCaliphate.[citation needed]
Takfiris, on the other hand, exist in every Muslim sect, large or small, and often their fingers point not only to those who supposedly belong to a 'rival' sect, but also to those within their own; an example to that is the clear enmity between the Sufis and Salafi (both groups of which go under the umbrella of Sunni Islam.) 'Takfir' also occurs within the enmity between some pro-Saudi Salafis and theJihadis (like Bin Ladin's group, al-Qaeda),with some Jihadis making takfir of the Salafis. Among Shia groups, takfir occurs in regards to the Sahaba and as is the case toward the followers of the major Shia Ayatollah Fadlallah of Lebanon (whose latest published opinions that review many beliefs deeply characteristic of Shia Islam have caused uproar and fierce opposition on the part of other Arab and Iranian clerics)[citation needed]. There also exists the example of Twelver Shia declaring the takfir of the Shaykhi Shia small sect (found mainly in BasraIraq).
The term Takfiri was brought to a more public prominence by the BBC investigative journalist Peter Taylor, in his 2005 BBC television series The New Al Qaeda. However the term was used frequently by proponents of Salafism before this. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takfiri

Fatwa Against Terrorism:

In regards to the Saudi-Wahabi pact of the family of "Al-Sheikh" (Saudi-Wahabi Hybrid family). The comments this Wahabi Shaykh makes regarding the Prophet Muhammad's Grandson Imam Hussein is proof of his hatred of the spirit of Islam in addition to the family of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).  These "spiritual Yazidis" are what inspires terrorists worldwide...The Wahabi Shaykh is the direct descendant of Muhammad Abdul Wahab (namesake of the Wahabis)...

First, I am surprised you didn't mention Nazis or Star Wars or show a movie clip. Second, what a racist, and haughty post. This deranged person is not a "wahabi" nor is the father responsibile for the sins of his children or vice-versa (a basic Islamic principle by the way). Third, what arrogant anti-Arab comments ... "straight out of the desert" ?? What are you trying say? Why not just call him a "camel jockey" ? Then you make him inherit his culture as cause for his crime compared to the great Greek/Indian/Chinese civiliations? So, if an Iranian commits such a crime, we are going to excuse him/her because of their "civilization" ? Again, when a drunk, gay man beats a servant, it is usually not a "wahabi" crime, nor a product of coming "ot of the desert" wearing a hata --- give me a break. It is because they are a criminal. PS What you or your family did or didn't do to "servants" is irrelevant and does not impress at the least. Amateurish and ignorant comments, post, and blog.

Obviously his family calls itself the "Custodian of the holy mosques"...these are the custodians? This is not racist...it is factual. Most Arabs I know that are even from Saudi Arabia that do not adhere to the Nasibi doctrine fully agree that these are nothing but desert people who do not know much about civilization. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was an Arab Prophet yes, but he was not a Prophet just for the Arabs. The people who hated the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) were infact the same Arabs such as the Ommayids who turned the Caliphate into a Kingship. I don't know any non-wahabi Arabs that agree with the munafiq servants of hate. Amateur...that is what the Saudi-Wahabi pact is. Amateur is what the Taliban is. They know nothing of Islam. I myself have Arab blood mixed with my Persian blood when my ancestor Imam Hussein married the daughter of the King of Persia. So, why would I hate Arabs? Arabs are not the problem, it is the desert minded Arabs that never came out of the desert to learn Islam and still adhere to Pagan beliefs that is the problem. You should study Islamic history further than the books printed by Saudi Arabia. Just look at how they changed the printed presses in Syria and Jordan in order to print "Wahabi friendly" Hadith books that have omitted many hadiths based on it's discrepancy with their un-Islamic beliefs. Traditional Muslims which are Sunni, Shia, and Sufi understand Islam better than these people who call themselves Muslims but infact are promoting Saudi Arab Imperialism. Speaking of Amateurs...what is your name "Anonymous"? Also, I should mention that if you are at all familiar with American culture (not being an Amateur)...Star Wars, Nazis, Movies are the #1 sources of doctrine, mythology, and cultural references when speaking of politics and religion.
