The Globalist Red-Green Axis' Attack on Conservative Christian Churches: An Iranian-American Ex-Muslim Christian LDS Perspective

As an Iranian-American ex-Muslim who has embraced conservative Christianity and the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), I have witnessed firsthand the ongoing war against traditional Christian values. What many fail to realize is that this assault is a coordinated effort from a disturbing alliance between the far-left, including the woke, socialist, and communist movements, and Islamist factions. This sinister partnership, often referred to as the "Globalist Red-Green Axis," seeks to undermine, marginalize, and eventually destroy conservative Christian institutions like the LDS, Orthodox, Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, and Evangelical churches.
This unholy alliance is built on shared goals: dismantling the fabric of Christian morality, weakening Western civilization, and installing a globalist regime that is hostile to traditional religious values. For centuries, Christianity has been a cornerstone of Western societies, promoting personal freedom, morality, and charity. Now, however, these values are being systematically eroded by forces both external and internal.
The Left’s War on Christian Churches
The globalist left, led by Democrats in the United States and their counterparts in Europe, has made it clear that conservative Christian churches are a threat to their agenda. This isn’t just about differences in policy; it's a full-scale ideological war. The core tenets of Christianity—such as the sanctity of life, the defense of the traditional family, and the inherent value of personal freedom—stand in direct opposition to the collectivist and moral relativism promoted by socialism and communism.
The left’s assault on Christian churches has taken many forms. Through Hollywood and mainstream media, the values upheld by conservative Christians are relentlessly mocked, vilified, and portrayed as archaic and oppressive. Anyone who dares to stand for biblical teachings on issues such as marriage, gender identity, and sexuality is labeled as a "bigot" or "intolerant." The entertainment industry, long dominated by the woke left, continues to undermine the moral authority of the Church, glorifying lifestyles and behaviors that stand in stark opposition to Christian values.
In politics, Democrats have weaponized government policies to curtail the freedoms of Christian institutions. The Biden administration, for example, has worked to compel Christian organizations to comply with policies that contradict their beliefs, such as forcing churches and faith-based businesses to recognize same-sex marriages and participate in transgender identity politics. Any resistance is met with lawsuits and the threat of losing tax-exempt status, a vital resource for many churches to continue their charitable missions.
The educational system, too, has been co-opted by the globalist left to indoctrinate children with anti-Christian ideology. The push for Critical Race Theory (CRT) and gender ideology in public schools is a direct attempt to detach children from their Christian roots and encourage them to adopt a worldview that denies absolute truth and moral accountability.
The Islamist Agenda Against Christianity
While the left has its sights set on dismantling Christian influence in the West, Islamists pursue a parallel agenda. As an ex-Muslim, I know from experience that Islamist groups have long sought to undermine Christianity. The doctrines of Islam, particularly in the Quran and Hadith, promote not just the subjugation of non-Muslims but also an aggressive strategy to spread Islamic law, or Sharia, wherever possible. This isn't a baseless accusation but a central aspect of Islamic political theology.
The Islamists have found willing allies among the leftists because both share a common enemy—Western Christian civilization. The Red-Green Axis is built on this shared hatred of Western values. For the Islamists, the goal is simple: replace Christianity with Islam. Groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated organizations are working hand-in-glove with leftist groups to silence conservative Christians and promote the narrative of "Islamophobia" as a way to deflect any criticism of their growing influence.
While many on the left portray themselves as champions of women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights, they conveniently ignore the misogyny and anti-LGBTQ+ positions entrenched in Islamic law. The silence of the left on these issues is not coincidental; it’s a strategic decision to avoid alienating their Islamist partners. Together, they target Christian churches with lawsuits, hate campaigns, and violent attacks. We’ve seen this in places like France, where churches are regularly vandalized, and in the Middle East, where Christians are persecuted and slaughtered.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Under Attack
As a member of the LDS Church, I see these attacks most vividly directed at our faith. The left labels the LDS Church as "outdated" and "patriarchal" because of its unwavering support for traditional family values. We have been targeted by activist groups for our defense of biblical marriage and our stance on gender roles. The same-sex marriage rulings and subsequent cultural shifts have pressured LDS members to compromise their beliefs, but we continue to stand firm.
The Islamists, on the other hand, view the LDS Church as an extension of Western "infidels" and thus an enemy of Islam. In regions where Islamist influence is strong, like the Middle East and Africa, Christian missionaries, including those from the LDS Church, are harassed, attacked, and sometimes killed. Yet, the world remains largely silent on these atrocities.
The Solution: Standing Firm in Faith
The Globalist Red-Green Axis seeks to create a world without God, without faith, and without the moral compass provided by Christianity. As believers in Jesus Christ, we must not be silent. It is our duty to stand against these forces and uphold the truths of the gospel. We must be vigilant in defending our churches, our doctrines, and our way of life.
We must also recognize that this is a spiritual battle as much as it is a political one. In Ephesians 6:12, the Apostle Paul writes, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." The woke left, socialists, communists, and Islamists are not merely political adversaries; they are agents of a much darker agenda, one that seeks to lead souls away from Christ.
As a conservative Christian who has lived through the oppressive regime of Islamic theocracy in Iran, I know the dangers of allowing faith to be crushed by external forces. We must not let America—or any part of the West—fall into the hands of those who despise Christianity. If we are to preserve our freedoms and the light of the gospel, we must unite as conservative Christians and fight back against the Globalist Red-Green Axis before it is too late.
Conclusion
The woke, leftist, communist, and Islamist forces have coalesced into a powerful front determined to destroy conservative Christianity. They see in our faith an obstacle to their vision of a godless, authoritarian global state. We must remain steadfast, continue to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and resist their attempts to undermine our religious freedoms. It is only by standing together as Orthodox, Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, Evangelical, and LDS Christians that we can protect the light of Christ from being extinguished by the darkness of this world.
