President Trump signed Executive Orders to curb the number of H1B Visas and increased the salary from 60k to 100k+ in order for Americans to be able to get their jobs back. We have MORE THAN ENOUGH QUALIFIED AMERICAN IT WORKERS WITH SENIOR EXPERIENCE STATUS, so we don't need to hire people from overseas. Also, with the raised salary, companies will try to stay in the USA for recruiting. In many ways this benefits both the American and Indian worker, because both get paid what they are worth and Americans get thier jobs back.
One of the other reasons for this order has to do with the RAMPANT H1B VISA FRAUD. Hopefully this will curb that as well.
