Announcement Regarding
The New Crescent for Ramadan 1433 AH
The Office of his Eminence Sayyid Sistani in the Holy City of Najaf, announces to all honorable believers, it has been established according to his Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) that tomorrow Saturday is the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan in Iraq, the rest of the Arabic countries and neighboring Islamic countries, as the case is in Australia, New Zealand, the countries of Africa, the United States of America* and Central and Southern America.
As for Britain, Germany, France, Italy and such European countries and most of Canada*, Sunday will be the first of the Holy Month.
We ask the Almighty Allah to make it a blessed and bountiful month unto all the Muslims may He accepts and answers (our calls.)
