As a Christian conservative and proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I’ve seen the best and worst of what this world offers when it comes to marriage and family. After experiencing different cultures—Middle Eastern, American, and Eastern European—I can say with bold confidence that faithful LDS women, alongside traditional Russian, Persian, and other Eastern European or Asian women, are the best choice for a lifelong wife—and that’s not just a personal opinion. It’s backed by science, scripture, culture, and hard-earned experience.
1. Science Supports Traditional Women as Better Wives
Studies repeatedly show that religious, modest, and family-oriented women have lower rates of infidelity, divorce, and mental health issues compared to secular or hyper-feminist counterparts. Women who attend church regularly are more likely to value family, loyalty, and marital commitment [Wilcox, Institute for Family Studies, 2020].
Additionally, women who grow up with traditional gender roles are happier in marriage and more likely to raise successful, emotionally stable children [Fagan & Churchill, Marriage and Religion Research Institute, 2012].
2. LDS Women Are Raised with Eternal Perspective
LDS women are taught from a young age to strive for eternal companionship, not casual flings. They’re raised with values like chastity, modesty, nurturing, homemaking, faith, and education. The LDS “Proclamation to the World on the Family” clearly states:
“Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children.”
— The Family: A Proclamation to the World, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1995)
That doesn’t mean LDS women aren’t strong or capable—many are highly educated and hardworking—but they don’t see motherhood as a burden. They see it as a divine calling. They embrace femininity, not try to compete with men.
3. Why Eastern European, Russian, and Persian Women Rank High Too
Women from Russia, Iran (before or outside Islamic rule), and Eastern Europe often come from cultures that still value family, femininity, and loyalty. They aren’t poisoned by the same feminist ideology pushed in American universities. These women understand that being a good wife and mother is a sign of strength, not oppression.
Persian and Russian women, in particular, carry themselves with pride, grace, and purpose. From my own experience, many of them are deeply loyal, affectionate, and family-oriented—values that align beautifully with the Christian worldview.
4. What Sets LDS Women Apart?
The key difference is covenant living. A faithful LDS woman doesn’t just want a wedding—she wants a sealed marriage in the House of the Lord. She believes in building a home based on prayer, scripture, service, and sacrifice.
In my experience, LDS women are often:
-
Kind and supportive rather than combative
-
Committed to raising righteous children
-
Open to large families
-
Focused on homemaking and education
-
Respectful toward men and masculine roles
A “Joe Mormon” like me—someone who's a regular, hard-working man with a testimony and traditional values—wants a woman who honors God and embraces her divine role. LDS women offer that, in contrast to Western secular women who often chase careers, trends, and victimhood narratives.
5. Modern Western Feminism Is a Dead End
Let’s be honest: the modern feminist model of womanhood is producing unhappy, bitter, childless women, riddled with anxiety, depression, and regret. Studies show that single, childless women over 40 are among the least happy demographics in the West [Grant, Behavioral Scientist, 2021].
Compare that to a temple-sealed LDS mother with a strong husband, children, and a support network of faith—and you tell me who’s winning.
Conclusion: Marry a Woman with Purpose, Not Politics
From my experience as an Iranian-American convert to Christianity and proud LDS member, I can say this without hesitation: if you want a wife who will love, build, and stand beside you, your best bet is a faithful LDS woman, or a woman from a traditional Christian culture like Russia, Persia, or Eastern Europe.
Forget the modern dating disaster. Find a woman who values God, family, and eternity—and you’ll find a wife worth everything.
