The Biden Administration’s War on Traditional Catholics: A Christian Conservative Perspective

The Biden administration has demonstrated time and time again that its commitment to "tolerance" and "democracy" is a one-sided affair. While radical leftist groups, pro-Hamas activists, and even violent Antifa demonstrators are given free rein to spread their ideology, the administration has been caught labeling traditional Catholics—faithful believers who uphold time-honored Christian values—as potential "domestic extremists." This is not just an attack on Catholics, but on all traditional Christians who refuse to bow to the Marxist secular agenda that seeks to destroy faith, family, and freedom in America.

FBI Targets Traditional Catholics as "Domestic Terror Threat"

In early 2023, a leaked memo from the FBI’s Richmond office exposed that the Bureau was targeting "Radical Traditionalist Catholics" (RTCs) as potential domestic terrorists. The document specifically cited concerns about Catholics who prefer the Latin Mass, oppose abortion, and reject modernist reforms in the Church, equating them with white supremacists and violent extremists.1 This revelation sent shockwaves through Christian communities, as it confirmed what many had feared—the federal government under Biden is actively working to suppress and criminalize traditional Christian beliefs.

The FBI memo, based on sources from left-wing groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), claimed that conservative Catholics pose a threat because they hold firm to traditional doctrines on marriage, gender, and the sanctity of life. Yet, this same administration refuses to apply such scrutiny to radical leftist groups that incite riots, attack pregnancy centers, and desecrate churches.2

The Real Target: Traditional Christian Values

This isn’t just about Catholics; this is about Christianity itself. The Biden administration, in lockstep with the Democratic Party’s radical progressive wing, sees biblical Christianity as an obstacle to their ideological revolution. The Left’s goal is clear—to replace the Christian moral order with secular humanism, gender ideology, and radical Marxist thought.

Traditional Catholics and other conservative Christians believe that:

  • Marriage is between one man and one woman.
  • Life begins at conception, and abortion is murder.
  • There are only two genders, created by God.
  • The government should not interfere with religious freedoms.

These views, once the bedrock of American society, are now labeled "extremist" under the Biden administration. Meanwhile, those who support unrestricted abortion, transgender surgeries for minors, and the persecution of faithful Christians are celebrated in mainstream media and given a platform by the White House.

Double Standards in Law Enforcement

While Biden’s FBI and DOJ are busy investigating Catholics for their faith, they ignore or even enable real threats:

  1. Pro-Hamas and Anti-Semitic Demonstrations: The administration refuses to crack down on radical Islamist protests in America, even as they call for the destruction of Israel and attack Jews on college campuses.3
  2. Antifa and BLM Violence: These leftist groups have looted cities, burned down churches, and assaulted law enforcement officers, yet they face little to no federal prosecution.4
  3. Attacks on Christian Churches and Pregnancy Centers: Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, churches and pro-life organizations have been firebombed and vandalized. Instead of hunting down the perpetrators, Biden’s DOJ is persecuting pro-life activists under the FACE Act.5

If Biden’s FBI were truly interested in combating domestic extremism, they would be targeting those who engage in actual political violence. Instead, they are harassing grandmothers praying the rosary outside abortion clinics.

A Call to Action for All Christians

This persecution of traditional Catholics is a warning to all Christians—Protestant, Catholic, and LDS alike. If the government can brand faithful believers as "domestic extremists" for adhering to God’s truth, then none of us are safe. The time for passive Christianity is over. We must:

  1. Speak Out: Do not let the Left shame us into silence. Defend biblical truth boldly and unapologetically.
  2. Vote for Leaders Who Defend Religious Liberty: The 2024 election is a spiritual battle as much as a political one. Christians must rally behind candidates who will protect our freedoms.
  3. Support Persecuted Christians: Whether through legal defense funds, Christian organizations, or simply by encouraging one another in faith, we must stand together.
  4. Pray for America: The forces of darkness are working tirelessly to dismantle Christian civilization, but we know that Christ is victorious.

Conclusion

Biden’s FBI targeting traditional Catholics as "domestic extremists" is not just an isolated incident—it is part of the Left’s broader war on Christianity. The administration has shown that it will weaponize federal agencies against those who stand for biblical truth. However, as believers, we know that no government, no tyrant, and no worldly power can ever silence the Gospel. The question is: Will we stand up and fight for our faith, or will we allow the enemies of Christ to dictate our future?

The time to act is now.
