Oil Spills, Car Bombs & Obama

I recently heard the news about the Oil Spill off the coast of Lousiana and the Bomb Plot (abandoned suv) in New York on CNN.  Something that was mentioned on some of the other TV stations was this idea of the oil spill being "Obama's Katrina"...what a joke!  This is not Obama's Katrina, it is the GOP's nightmare, especially for people like Sarah Palin and The Tea Party who constantly say "drill baby drill".


The second item to mention is the Times Square situation with the abandoned SUV...makes you wonder if that was also something that was put their by let's say people who think along the same lines as the "Hutaree" rebels? Tea Party? etc. However, in this case it looks like it's a Pakistani-American that has been brainwashed by the misguided Taliban...

The Neo-Khawarij influenced Pakistani-American has been caught for such a heinous scheme, the question to ask is why?  When you have Talibanesque people such as "Revolution Muslim" as a guide instead of true Islamic Scholars, this is what happens.  This crime could have also been carried out by the Hutareesque people as well.  There are Athiest, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Pagan, etc. Extremists everywhere with violent end of days scenarios which only include themselves as the saved ones.  However, as true people of faith know, that is not the case.  We as Muslims know that when the Messiah/Mahdi comes, we ourselves will be surprised at what he considers "Islam" vs. what we think of it.  Ironically, so many Muslims quote this hadith about Islam spliting into 73 sects and only one is right (and of course that one is their own sect).  However, in reality, they forget about the Islam that Allah (swt) has given all of us (Muslim and Non-Muslim).  Islam is in the heart first (the last place people will look).  That is where you will find the love of God, The Prophets and The Angels.  If you do things remembering that God is love and loves us, then you would not do violence against people.  Yes, Islam warrants self defense when attacked with lethal force, however it does not allow violence when there is no attacking force.  For example, this Pakistani-American with the Car Bomb, what he did would put him out of Islam (Peace).  Ironically, he thinks that by blowing up Americans he is doing Gods work...which is the other way...he is doing the Devils work (Shaytan/Iblis).  How can a person wake up in the morning and say "There is no god, but God and Muhammad is his messenger" then allow himself to make a car bomb to kill Americans or anybody else for that matter?  Islam forbids the killing of non-aggressive non-combatants in any war...internal or external of your own nation.  This type of misguided teachings are obviously Taliban / Al-Qaeda insipired.  I was watching this show on youtube from Pakistan where the Pakistani news correspondent asks "is there anybody that is innoccent?" and the Taliban says "no".  Here is that clip:





That right there teaches all Muslims to watch out for such criminals trying to drive the Islamic Police Car.  We as Muslims need to have a new organization called "MIA" (pun intended) Muslim Internal Affairs...something that would put our house in order, before others have to do it for us due to misguided Neo-Khawarij like the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, etc.

I keep wondering if the Tea Party and like minded people will ever become violent like the clip above?  Considering the things they have been calling President Obama and the way they act towards people of different races and religions, I would not put it past them.  Up until I saw the Hutaree Rebels I didn't think these people were toting guns, but I was proved wrong.

I don't know why, but I get flashbacks of the "Brown Shirts" in Germany, before they actually became the Nazi Party...treating people who they deemed weak and ready for extermination, such as foreigners, people of various faiths, developmentally disabled, and others.

It is interesting that right after the Health Care bill went into effect, all these "unfortunate" things are happening that the President has to deal with.  Coincidentally, I was on a driving trip from West Virginia to Pennsylvania and saw a white truck on the road that said "vote out career politicians" and it had another magnet the size of the tailgate that said "Obama Sucks" with the little guy peeing on his name.  Ironically, I had an Obama-Biden sticker on my car!  Anyway, President Obama is probably one of the best presidents this nation has ever had.  He is more educated than any of the last presidents I have ever seen in the last 36 years of my life.  I think he is one of the most intellectual people to sit in the oval office.  I hope that future presidents are like Obama, so we can survive as a superpower if not a nation.
