Jeffrey Goldberg and the Russia Collusion Hoax: A Conservative Christian Iranian-American Exposé

The Russia collusion narrative was one of the most egregious political hoaxes ever perpetrated against the American people. As a Christian conservative Iranian-American, I watched with alarm as the media and political elite relentlessly attacked President Donald Trump—America's duly elected leader—based on fabricated claims that he colluded with the Russian government to steal the 2016 election. Central to this effort was The Atlantic, led by Jeffrey Goldberg, which irresponsibly lent credibility to the now-discredited Steele dossier, a document funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC, designed purely for opposition research, not truth (DOJ Inspector General Report, 2019; Durham Report, 2023) [1][2].
This narrative, falsely portraying Trump as a Russian puppet, was amplified with religious fervor by mainstream media and left-wing operatives who couldn’t accept the democratic will of the American people. The result was not justice or transparency, but chaos, division, and a shattered public trust in institutions that are supposed to inform and protect. Millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted on investigations that ultimately found no evidence of collusion. Yet outlets like The Atlantic have never issued a sincere retraction or apology for misleading the nation.
As someone who fled the lies and tyranny of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I recognize propaganda when I see it. The tactics used against Trump were eerily similar to the political witch hunts employed by authoritarian regimes—create a false narrative, repeat it endlessly, and destroy your opponents through disinformation. It pains me to see these same methods weaponized in the United States, a country founded on truth, liberty, and Christian moral order.
What we witnessed was not journalism, but political warfare. The left weaponized the media, intelligence agencies, and even social media platforms to censor dissent and deceive the public. As Christians, we are called to stand for truth and expose falsehood. The Russia collusion hoax wasn’t just a partisan lie—it was an attack on truth itself, and a dangerous warning of how far the globalist, leftist establishment will go to regain power.
We must never allow our Republic to be manipulated by those who would trade truth for political gain. And we must continue to support leaders—like President Trump—who are willing to stand up to the deep state, media lies, and the globalist elite for the sake of restoring faith, freedom, and the American way of life.
