During my time as an Executive Director for CAIR Columbus, there was the Rifqa Bary Controversy...during that time period, this organization 'Revolution Muslim' being a Wahabist Organization supporting Al-Qaeda attacked us for saying that there was no death for apostasy...they said we were lying. Now, both of the main people from this organization seem to have left Wahabism or Islamic Extremism aka Radical Islam / Political Islam. This is a great example of how people can become 'De-Radicalized'. He comes from the same time period that I had gotten into Sunni Islam and some of the same experiences made me leave it.

Former extremist: 'I was living dual lives'
